Ganges & Brahmaputra river plumes monitoring
SMOS, Aquarius/SAC-D and SMAP SSS data now allow to routinely monitor the dispersal patterns of large river plumes, their spatial extension and mixing rates. The Pi-MEP platform provides a dedicated access to new information, visualisation and extraction tools available to assess the satellite SSS data quality for the Ganges and Brahmaputra River Plumes region.
